The ten-strong fleet in the Clipper 05-06 Round the World Yacht Race slipped their lines for the final time tonight [28 July] in Holyhead as they set sail on the last race (Race 13) to Liverpool where they are due to arrive at the mouth of the River Mersey early tomorrow morning [29 July] between 0830 and 1000.

The tension in the air could have been cut with a knife as each crew set about preparing their boats and focusing their minds on the last vital points that are up for grabs in the 60-mile sprint back to Liverpool More at clipper-ventures.co.uk >>
