Clipper 05-06: Cross channel drift

It has been a slow old day. The breeze that powered the fleet away from Jersey was soon to die and all the boats had a very frustrating night drifting slowly across the channel. The tide helped initially as it pushed them towards the west, but when it turned they slowed down even more. Today has improved things slightly as the breeze has increased, but the direction has turned to the north west, exactly the direction they need to go in. More at clipper-ventures.co.uk >>
