Telefonica twins return home

August 17 2009, Volvo Ocean Race
The two Telefonica entries in the 2008-09 race have arrived back in their home port of Alicante after a celebratory tour of the Spanish coast. The journey from the finish port of St Petersburg took in Santander, Vigo and Sanxenxo, the site of the 2006-06 race start. From there it was on to Cadiz and Malaga and finally Alicante. In each of the ports of call the boats have been holding corporate sailing with sponsors and local authorities.
