Thoresen Thai buys its second largest ship

Thoresen Thai Agencies has snapped up a supramax newbuilding from Greek principals for $34.5m, the company said Friday. The 57,000-dwt ship has been acquired from Meadway Shipping & Transport and was handed over to its new owners on Thursday.
