Gothenburg goods volumes down in 2009

The Port of Gothenburg reports lower freight volumes in 2009, compared to 2008. However, a recovery was noted during the second half of the year. Around 504,000 ro-ro units were handled in 2009, a drop of 19 per cent compared to the previous year. Approximately 818,000 TEUs passed through the port last year, which is five per cent down on the year before. More at Shipgaz >>
