Vietnam jv starts manufacturing country's first ship engines

Vietnam's first ship engine plant, a joint venture between the Bach Dang Shipbuilding Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (TSE:7011), was put into operation on February 3. The plant in the northern port city of Hai Phong will enable the country to build its first ships using domestically made engines. More at Antara, Indonesia >>
