New Value Added Service for Connector by Radio Holland

January 27 2010, Radio Holland Group
Radio Holland Connect introduces the VSAT Prepaid Calling Card. This Connector by Radio Holland VSAT Prepaid Calling Card offers users a convenient way to stay in touch with family and friends.

The Calling Card enables voice calls via the Radio Holland Global VSAT network. Ship owners and captains have greater cost control over private communications, with minimal administration and no additional cost. Crew or team members can make private calls on board the vessel with this latest value added service of Radio Holland Connect.

A regular phone on board will be selected as a calling card phone. The user only has to dial a short number to enter the Radio Holland voice portal. First, the crew member will be asked to enter his prepaid card number and will hear is current balance. Second, he can enter the phone number he wishes to dial and can talk to his relatives and friends. The calling card is available in a virtual format.

Radio Holland provides coverage over all major shipping routes around the world. With “Connector by Radio Holland” we offer our customers a total connectivity solution; hardware, installation, service and airtime, which includes ‘always-on’ unlimited broadband internet access, low cost voice over IP (VoIP) calls, email, GSM on board and other value added services.
